The use of black on your buttons with a stark contrasting yellow really makes your buttons stand out to the user. Using a console is a really great way to seperate the interface from the background. The use of animation on your button clicks is a great idea compared to other examples that require many button presses from the user to make the character move. I think more effort should have been placed in the backgrounds of your scene to really sell the theme to the user. Colour is also important in this regard as well. Even without the use of a background and colour I can understand what you intend to acheive and as this is a greybox exercise it still acheives its purpose.
Positive: The integration of 'Turn Left' and 'Turn Right' buttons within the game's menu is a standout feature, offering players a delightful way to appreciate the character's design through idle animations. The addition of a 'Reset' button is also commendable, providing a user-friendly way to restart experiences or correct mistakes, enhancing overall gameplay fluidity.
Negative: While the game's functionality impresses with thoughtful features, the modeling aspects feels overly simplistic, lacking in the depth and detail that could elevate the visual experience. Additionally, the game's presentation on its itch.io page could benefit significantly from more attention to detail, such as the incorporation of background colors and thoughtful editing, to make the page as engaging and attractive as the game itself aims to be.
